Country Bear Jamboree is an attraction with audio-animatronic bears and other animals. This 16 minute show has 18 animated bears named Big Al, Zeke, Zeb, Ted, Fred, Tennessee, Wendell, Oscar, Terrence (aka Shaker Bear), Ernest the Dude, Henry, Liverlips McGrowl, Teddi Barra, Trixie, Bubbles, Bunny and Beulah. There is also a raccoon (Sammy), buffalo (Buff), deer (Max) and moose (Melvin). The bears offer an entertaining song selection and sing the following songs

1. My Woman Ain't Pretty, but She Don't Swear
2. Mama, Don't Whip Little Buford
3. Tears Will Be the Chaser for My Wine
4. All the Guys That Turn Me On Turn Me Down
5. Blood on the Saddle
6. The Ballad of Davy Crockett

The show has changed a few times including the Country Bear Christmas Special and Country Bear Vacation Hoedown. The Country Bear Vacation Hoedown was actually a replacement for the show for about 6 years till the original show came back. The show at Disneyland has been closed.

The show originally began as an idea for a ski resort by Walt Disney. Walt wanted some show to entertain guests at the ski lodge and had Marc Davis work on the project. Marc Davis and Al Bertino came up with a few bear groups, all of which Walt enjoyed. Walt passed away before the idea could happen but the idea was still carried out. The ski resort never happened but the show opened at the Magic Kingdom on opening day in 1971 (1971). The show was so popular that it was replicated in Disneyland. The show was originally an E Ticket and was extremely popular and still is.
