WEDWay PeopleMover opened in 1975 after Space Mountain had been built. Disneyland also had a version of this ride named simply the PeopleMover. Until the ride was complete, there was empty spaces above attractions such as Flight to the Moon and the Circle Vision 360 theater where the ride was to go.
The original narrator of the WEDWay PeopleMover was Jack Wagner who's voice lasted until 1985. In 1994, the ride was renamed to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.
