Disney's Persian Resort is a resort that was never built on the shores of Bay Lake, not the Seven Seas Lagoon. Early drawings show it as being on the north shore, north of the Contemporary and having a monorail spur go to it. Some drawings have the monorail going through Tomorrowland to the resort and others have it on the way to the monorail storage and repair area.[1]
The Persian Resort would have been laid out in a circle with a central building with a 24 foot dome. This would have housed the entrance area and meeting facilities. The building would have been painted white and blue.[2]
