The Walt Disney World Conference Center was designed for small and medium business meetings and conferences. The center had four main rooms with the largest being 6,500 square feet offering seating for 505 people in theater seating. One interesting innovation at the center was the lights would get brighter as it got cloudy outside.

The conference center's size was its down fall. The center couldn't host the large crowds and trade shows. The Dolphin, Swan, Contemporary and Grand Floridian opened conference centers negating the need for this one. The center was later remodeled and became part of the Disney Institute.
